Water: Scarcity and Sustainability - A Água : Escassez e Sustentabilidade

The Topic Environmental Issues of the 11th grade curriculum of English in Portugal includes the subtopic the water challenge nowadays. Students from 2 classes of the Escola Secundária D. Leonor, Lisbon, produced several captions for images and photos they collected from the net. The main idea was to improve greater awareness on the use of water. Here are some results that were presented to the school in an exhibition at the Crem.

It sounds pretty natural to talk about how important water is in our daily routines for our wellbeing , but to educate youth for gratefulness, developing among them a greater awareness of how privileged they are
because they are able to use water in so many ways, so many times a day, has not been so common...but having comes with thankfulness and sharing.
The Bible, like water, is so embedded in our culture that we sometimes miss its importance or even ignore its relevance in our western civilization. These two are legacies under our care.
